AVP Austin makes its long awaited return after a 4 year hiatus! The AVP Austin Open is headed to ATX Beach for four days of beach volleyball action, April 16–19, 2026.
The event begins on Thursday, April 16 with the Men’s & Women’s Qualifier, where teams battle for their place in the main draw.
Then on Friday, April 17, the real show begins with the Main Draw, featuring 32 teams per gender competing in a full double-elimination match play tournament. This is a full day of high-level professional beach volleyball with real stakes, full brackets, and nonstop action across the venue.
On Saturday, April 18, the event builds toward what makes AVP Austin different: Championships under the lights Saturday night.
That is not common in beach volleyball. Most events push semifinals and finals to Sunday, where the atmosphere can feel flat and the energy can drop off. AVP Austin is changing that by putting the biggest matches of the weekend into a true primetime setting on Saturday night, creating a better experience for players, fans, and the overall event atmosphere.
Then on Sunday, April 19, the weekend wraps up with the Stay and Play Single Gender 4-Man event.

- 2-Day General Admission Pass: $25 GA and includes 1 drink ticket per day

- The tournament hospitality pantry, located in the trailer behind Court 2, will also feature snacks and fruit throughout both days
